Enjoy your kids!
  • November 29, 2013
My 5 beautiful babies are growing so fast! I am enjoying every moment of it! Despite all the multiple attitudes and arguments among them, I love every second!

Here are my top 5 ways I make memories with my kiddos:
1. Taking pictures! I can’t tell you have often I reflect on our lives through pictures. Not those “put together” pictures, but those “in the moment” ones. I take monthly portrait pictures, but those random ones I love most!
2. Crafty projects. I am in the process of collecting art from my kids school and making each one a personalized scrapbook.
3. Cooking. My daughters love to watch me cook, but when they have the chance to get their hands messy is when memories are made!
4. Outdoor fun. My husband is the expert in outdoor activities. He crafted a DIY tree swing and strapped the kids to rock climbing gear. They soared back and forth freely!
5. Family outings. We try to plan one awesome family day out of the month. Whether it’d be out of town or spending the night in a hotel, the kids can look back and say, “Wow! My parents are awesome!”

2 Year Blog Anniversary
  • September 19, 2013

Happy Anniversary to me!!! Well to my blog!

I cannot believe it’s been 2 years! I began blogging because I needed an outlet. At the time, my family and I were living in a small RV (recreation vehicle) with a busted ceiling and when it rained it poured! This blog was my rescue and release when I felt like giving up and or complaining. That was our season and God gave me the outlet of blogging.

Two years later, I have grown spiritually and I am much more mature in experiences and in advice giving. I feel that God has given me my obstacles to get someone through theirs or to at least encourage them through it.

Thank you to the faithful few that support my blog. In the future, I will be more consistent in content and will talk about latest topics and trends in marriage, family, children and Christian living. My focus is on the family unit. The family unit is under attack and I am one of the fighters for the sacredness and holiness of family and marriage.

Stay tune for insightful and motivating posts!
