I don’t know if it’s me but the new Tums commercial are out of line! It shows people trying to enjoy a snack or a meal and the food supposedly fighting back because of heartburn. Why didn’t they use a pretzel or rice? You know? All of the fallacies committed in today’s media get great marketing but there should be a better way. Using food as a sexual fallacy is crazy! First there was the infamous Jack in the box commercial, now this. What’s going on? What’s your view of this marketing strategy?
Now check this out. This was one of the first commercials Tums used for their “Food that fights back” ad. Obviously, this didn’t work well for them. A much cleaner, funnier version.
