I don’t know about you, but I feel like a kid in a candy store! I’ve always wanted to have a beauty subscription but haven’t found the energy and time to dedicate to experimenting with it. Now that my children are a little older and more independent, I have some time to play in makeup and test skincare products.
For years, I’ve flirted with the idea of subscribing to a monthly makeup service and last month, I finally did it. Right now, I am subscribed to IPSY. IPSY is one of the first makeup/beauty subscriptions founded by the one and only Michelle Phan, the original beauty guru of YouTube’s humble beginnings when experimenting, trial and error and complete fails were openly accepted and educational.

This is a highly pigmented liquid lipstick that evenly coats the lips in a gorgeous mauve color that won’t feather or fade. (We shall see about that!)
PHASE ZERO MAKE-UP Satin Eyeshadow in Velvet
This claims to be a no-fuss makeup. This color, Velvet is a luminous shade that goes on sheer but can be layered for drama. Plus, pigment stays put for hours.
