I am a mom who nurse. I’ve been in the game for 7 years! At first, I was a little embarrassed to nurse in public, but my baby had to eat. Many times, I had no time to run to a restroom or nursing station to feed my baby, so wherever I was is where I would feed. Then baby 2, 3, 4 and now 5 I am comfortable nursing anytime, anyplace! Nowadays, many are uncomfortable with the thought of me plopping out my boob to feed my baby. Breastfeeding is a beautiful and healthy experience that has been around since the beginning of time.

So when I see the new LUVS commercial about the mom nursing her children, I can easily relate. But how far is too far for a commercial or even in public? I have seen women plop out their boob in public in a line at the grocery store, walking in a neighborhood, sitting in the grass… I am not offended because a baby’s gotta eat. Same with adults, you find yourself hungry, you’re gonna stop and eat!
